It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!

So, Christmas has come and gone and the kids have a mountain of booty that would make Jack Sparrow blush.

This would be Aiden's Second Christmas, and this year he discovered (and loves) Christmas lights. He had a blast "decorating" our tree and learned the hard-way, via several trips to his "penalty-box", how not to "undecorate" it.

Thankfully, he hasn't acquired "The Greed" yet. I hope this isn't the last year I'll be able to say that because I swear to all that is good in the Universe, I will fight to my last breath to keep him (& Izzy) from catching that horrible social disease!! If there was a vaccine against it, it would probably be the only one he'd get.

Thanks to Oma, Opa an Uncle Tom, Aiden got his first All Terrain Vehicle, with an awe inspiring 1 Dadpower engine that can go 0-60 in never!! It can however overcome curbs, grassy knolls, speed-bumps and small animals with ease!! What more could a 2 year old want!!

Well, for one, he might want an awesome new Teddy-dog that knows his name, favourite food, colour and animal. It actually says, "I Love You, Aiden" and can spell his name. How cool is that. His Uncle Aaron and Auntie Dawn hooked him up with that sweetness.

Now, an ordinary sane person would think that would be enough for someone who has yet to see his 24th month. However, "sane" and "ordinary" describe his Uncle Tom about as well as a brick floats.

No, Uncle Tom decided Aiden needed his OWN LAPTOP!!! He's already genetically inclined to be a geek, now he pretty much has no hope!!

He got many other cool, useful & thoughtful gifts too, and I hate to down play them, but these really were the highlights for Aiden.

This is Izzy's first Christmas, so was pretty much a present unto herself!!

What's a 3 month old to do at Christmas but drool on those who love her and eat some wrapping paper. Your basic first Christmas really.

She did get her first book which she has already read cover to cover with a little help from her Uncle Tom, although she did have to help with some of the bigger words (just kidding big guy).

She also got a new outfit that her Grandma made for her along with some other new clothes and a few toys.

She also rather likes Aiden's ATV and likes going for rides with

or without him.

All in all, it was a pretty great year with a heck of an ending.

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
